Comprehensive Cytotechnology and Cytopathology Board Examination by the International Academy of Cytology scheduled to be conducted in Hong Kong in 2012 The International Academy of Cytology (IAC) organizes examinations in different regions of the world for cytotechnologists and cytopathologists who are interested to obtain professional qualification, i.e. Registry for Cytotechnologists (CTIAC) and International Board for Cytopathologists (FIAC). The IAC together with the Hong Kong Society of Cytology will co-organize an IAC Tutorial Course on Clinical Cytology from February 24-27, 2012. This will be followed by the IAC examination tentatively set for February 28, 2012. Professor Annie Cheung is the Hong Kong coordinator for the IAC exam. Members of IAC are eligible to sit for the examination of International Board of Cytopathologists. The Fellowship of IAC will be conferred to members who have successfully passed the examination and who have acquired two years’ experience after admission as Member of IAC. For fellows of the Hong Kong College of Pathologists and fellows of Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia, who are interested in applying to become a Member of IAC, please visit the IAC website.
